Ms. Williams is the Program Director for LDAH and currently is a member of three advisory groups, including Special Education Advisory Council, Community Advisory Council of the Hawaii University Affiliated Program, and the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Task Force. As a highly experienced educational advocate, her determination and expertise take her statewide as she works tirelessly to help families secure appropriate educational services for their children.Ms. Williams approaches all situations with the desire to foster a collaborative relationship between families and schools to achieve positive outcomes for children with disabilities.

Karen Simon’s formal education and training was acquired at the University of Hawaii, University of Southern California, Cal State University - Fullerton, American Management Association, Data Tech Institute, and by renown industry experts such as Adam Green and Cheryl Currid. Karen has presented seminars to clubs and associations. She has appeared on national television and is often quoted in newspapers, books and magazines covering topics about using the computer effectively and as an organizing tool. She holds software workshops and has been called upon to conduct in-house employee training sessions by clients such as Peter Norton.

Waynella McNeil is a Corporate Wellness Consultant with The Medical Corner and partners with Aflac to educate on prevention and wellness.She is also a Senior Director with The Bios Life Company, Unicity International.Her mission is to educate others so they may be empowered to make informed decisions about their own health.

Lucy Teal, Parent volunteer, Faith Maraoka, Fund raising,and John Mcquire, Retired Teacher volunteer with specialprograms & athletics activities will lead attendees in a discussion surrounding best practices of volunteering in Hawaii’s schools and community.

 

OMDR Lab………………………………………………..Valerie Sonoda                                Mahimahi Room

Valerie will present training of the National OMDR (Online Membership Data Resource) system.  Attendees will be able to learn various features of managing their membership through OMDR.

Kelly received her B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.She has been an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and served as Vice President of the San Francisco chapter.Kelly is a founding member of the Hawaii Association of Professional Organizers and currently serves at Vice President. Attendees will learn the 5 steps to get and stay organized and will also be given suggestions about which containers work best and where to shop for them.
