We have selected the dates and secured a location and now plans for our upcoming 81st Annual Convention in 2008 are well underway.

June 2008 is not that far off.  So start gearing up for convention now!  Begin by establishing a budget line item for this annual event.  We encourage you to send as many board members from your local unit as possible.  Convention is an opportunity to:

• gain valuable leadership training and development 
• visit with our exhibitors to hear about new and successful educational and fundraising programs
• network with other local unit officers and board members
• revisit your reasons for having gotten involved with PTA in the first place

Our Oahu convention committee has been hard at work for several months now planning and coordinating this event to ensure it yields the greatest benefit to our delegates.  But you'll have to find out for yourself and the only way to do that is by attending.
